I try not to be that person bragging that they are the one who has always been waiting fro fall even before pumpkin spice was a thing, but since fall is my birthday season I've always kind of anticipated it.

 

My family never carved pumpkins, went apple picking, found hay rides, or harvest festivals to go to so that was never the draw. I think it was the excitement of school, turning a year older, pulling out all my sweaters and winter clothes, and the colors that inspired me when I was little. It was a season of change, coziness, and color.

Now, I celebrate the season by focusing more on my crafting. Holidays call for homemade gifts and cold winds inspire scarves, mittens, and even sweaters.

I've made this blog because I am trying to learn how to appreciate knitting and crochet more. I want to learn more about the process of pattern creation and making itself. Here is where I will post my progress as I practice those things.
